New Clinician Handbook

The Brief

As part of the larger Abano Healthcare brand refresh, I was tasked with creating a versatile, modern handbook to help onboard new clinicians across their national network. The goal? Build a resource that felt human, clear, and aligned with the bold new visual identity, while staying practical and scalable for future updates.

The Concept

This wasn’t just a layout job. I developed a foundational template system for Abano’s internal documents that blended functionality with brand impact, helping the Clinicial team communicate with clarity and warmth.

I crafted the visual hierarchy, defined the layout grid, and introduced graphic devices that could flex across A4 spreads, ensuring every section flowed logically and looked cohesive.

Execution

The New Clinician Handbook was the flagship template in this suite. I led the full design, collaborating directly with Abano’s team while embedding the new brand voice and visual language throughout. Once approved, freelancers were later brought in to make minor edits and adapt my templates for future editions.

Outcome

The handbook became a key asset in Abano’s onboarding toolkit — making a strong first impression on new hires while reflecting the brand’s renewed confidence and care.
